PY Pilates Teacher Training Comes to Vienna in English in 2027

In 2027, PY will offer its Pilates Teacher Training in Vienna in English. After three years of delivering the programme in German, this development makes the training accessible to aspiring teachers who prefer to learn and communicate in English.

The English-language programme brings together Mat and Reformer Pilates while maintaining PY’s emphasis on teaching practice, clear instruction and personal feedback.

Understanding Movement and Learning to Teach

Practising Pilates and teaching Pilates require different skills. A teacher needs to understand an exercise and communicate it in a way that participants can follow.

Throughout the training, participants practise stepping into the teaching role. They learn to explain movements, give clear cues and observe how people respond to their instructions.

This practical work helps participants develop their teaching voice. Feedback provides opportunities to refine their language, improve their delivery and become more confident guiding others.

Combining Mat and Reformer Pilates

Learning both Mat and Reformer Pilates allows participants to explore how exercises change with different forms of support and resistance.
